Cell Towers

McKeever & Niekamp Electric, Inc. provides reliable, cost-effective power solutions for critical cell tower infrastructure across Ohio.

Emergency power is essential to maintaining uninterrupted communication. When utility power is lost, battery backup systems immediately support tower and ground equipment while an emergency generator starts. An Automatic Transfer Switch (ATS) seamlessly transitions the system from battery to generator power, preventing dropped calls and data interruptions.

Once utility power is restored, the ATS safely reconnects to the grid and the generator shuts down in sequence. This coordinated system ensures continuous operation and protects sensitive equipment during outages.
